Investigations Consultant

JOB PURPOSE The Consultant will report to the Director, Office of Inspections and Investigations (OIGI) and/or his delegate as appointed by the Director of OIGI.The consultant will specifically deliver their work either individually or within a multidisciplinary team.The ultimate goal and mission of the OIGI is to conduct independent investigations into allegations of misconduct involving WFP staff, contractors and other applicable persons.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)Under the supervision and direction of the OIGI Director or his delegate, the Consultant will generally be responsible for some or all of the following duties: Review and assess complaints and allegations; Carry out investigations into allegations of violations of applicable rules and regulations; Conduct interviews and collect evidence; Draft reports on the outcome of the investigation including recommendations for corrective action;
