**Job purpose**
As lead of the Strategic Excellence team, you will be responsible, under the lead of the Head of Procurement, for a team of two people (Value Officer, PSDT Specialist) to create valuable solutions for procurement and business stakeholders.
As Program and Vendor manager, you will work hands-on and cooperatively by implementing and managing key projects.
You will focus on managerial, organizational and communication aspects.
You will engage with key stakeholders and involve them in driving projects within the general procurement organization and deliver tangible results.
Next to your role as Program manager, you will be responsible for the management of the vendor relationship.
You represent Bridgestone in terms of quality of services, performance against SLAs and KPIs, duties and obligations, audit of vendors' services and overall contract performance.
The aim is to promote service excellence and mitigate risk in order to achieve greater value from vendors.
During the transition phase you will focus on the business continuity.
**Main responsibilities**:
- Manage and represent the point of contact/escalation for the Strategic Excellence team (Value Officer, PSDT Specialist), as a direct report to the Head of Procurement
- Lead and coordinate the right procurement support to drive excellence (knowledge, savings, tools and processes)
- Influence teams and individuals positively, leading by example and establishing confident relationships with increasingly senior people
- Manage the team members goals and objectives and provide performance evaluation
- Lead key projects within the procurement organization.
Collaborating with department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
- Manage the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding Bridgestone's standards
- Ensure adherence to the project management methodology and effective practices for certain project
- Provide continuous improvement to processes, tools, metrics and training, based on ongoing experience, process metrics and feedback from process users and other stakeholders to drive further efficiencies in the organization
- Review project status reports and action item logs to identify issues; address risks and concerns directly with project stakeholders or action item assignees or raise them to the attention of senior management for further direction
- Work with different project members, to ensure internal process documentation
- Be an advocate for Procurement projects, build great relationships with stakeholders and vendors, manage expectations and communicate effectively
- Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with vendors
- Ensure the governance conduct and its compliance with the agreed service level
- Handle ARC/RCC process
- Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with Bridgestone policies
- Monitor potential problems that may occur and take action
