About the Position:
You will serve as the Physical Security Specialist with the Army Sustainment Command (ASC). You will be responsible for providing staff guidance and effective security program measures such as the protection of people, government property, conventional weapons, ammunition and explosives, terrorism counteraction, crime prevention and technical assistance.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing effective security program entailing the protection of people; AND managing security programs to include government property, conventional weapons, ammunition and/or explosives; AND providing terrorism counteraction and crime prevention; AND planning, directing, and coordinating the operation of a sound and effective security program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
