The
Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator
, reporting to the Head of Digital, ensures the production, publication and management of content on the organization's websites and social media channels. S/he is responsible for MSF-Italy's presence on websites and social media, fostering interaction between the organization and online communities.

Scope of the position:

Define the Digital Content Strategy in line with the mission, vision and objectives of MSF, as well as the target audience

Coordinate the Digital Content Team to guarantee the process of conception, realization, publication and updating of content on Digital channels

Coordinate the organisation's social media management and community management

Responsibilities

1) Defines the Digital Content Strategy in line with the mission, vision, and objectives of MSF, as well as targets:

Defines the Digital Content Strategy for the Digital channels: Social Media, Paid Social, Audiovisual contents, Websites, Landing Pages, Email;

Schedules an editorial calendar on a monthly and weekly basis, and ensures the dissemination of content according to the schedule;

Based on data and information provided by the Communications and RF, Program and HR departments and the analysis of online trends, the Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator identifies:
o The most relevant topics for the target audience with respect to the channels;
o The most effective types of content and formats (articles, videos, social media posts, etc.);
o The writing style to be used and the most suitable tone of voice;

Oversees SEO activities;

Analyses Dashboards and reports for websites and social media channels to assess content effectiveness, evolving audiences and community engagement.

2) Is responsible for the conception of content on the organisation's digital channels
and for coordinating the team that produces and disseminates it. He/She oversees the process of devising, realizing, disseminating and updating content on digital channels:

Is responsible for and coordinates content creation activities on the organization's digital channels such as: online campaigns, social media, Social Stories, Multimedia content (images, videos, Podcasts, Infographics, Memes, live videos), Websites, Landing Pages, Blogs, Email;

Ensures the consistency of all digital content produced within the Digital Unit;

Is responsible for the production of audio-visual content for digital objectives of awareness, engagement, fundraising, acquisition, recruitment and lead generation;

Assesses the involvement of the digital content team in content production activities for other departments (HR, Volunteer, Fundraising, Programs);

Contributes to the strategic formation of MSF Italy's Spoke-pool to ensure the increase of digital content produced by projects;

Coordinates the updating of the content of the dynamic sections (home page, news and blog) of the MSF.IT institutional website and other campaign minisites;

Collaborates with the Press Office, the Public Engagement Unit and other areas of the editorial platform to ensure the digital promotion of specific content to meet the organisation's various objectives.

3) Coordinates the organisation's social media management and community management:

Coordinates the contents production and dissemination on Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and Tik Tok, LinkedIn;

Ensures the growth of digital productions linked to digital PR work;

Coordinates activities and proposes social media advertising strategies for the organisation's engagement and awareness objectives;

Coordinates the organisation's social media community management activities.

4) Participates in internal platforms:

Full strategic platform;

Strategic group for event;

Editorial Team;

Digital Coordinators Team;

International platform of the content and social media.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in Digital Communication

Training in communication, digital marketing, social media, content production

Knowledge of WordPress

Knowledge of CMS management

Good knowledge of image management and video editing software

Excellent creative and writing skills

Knowledge of people management and development

Results and Quality orientation / Planning and organizational skills

Ability to take initiative and propose innovative solutions

Teamwork and collaboration

Full working proficiency in Italian and English (at least C1 level)

Experience in MSF or non-profit sector is an asset

Conditions

Contract: Fixed-term contract of 12 months with potential extension according to organizational needs. Level I of Italian CCNL of Commerce. Full time 100%

Gross Annual Salary: 35.269€ – max 42.619€ (depending on experience of the selected candidate)

Starting date: September 2024

Location: Hybrid. MSF Italy Rome office and from home.

Flexibility and availability work extra-time in case of emergencies.
