Work #LikeABoschReinvent yourself: At Bosch, you will evolve.Discover new directions: At Bosch, you will find your place.Celebrate success: At Bosch, we celebrate you.Shape tomorrow: At Bosch, you change lives.Responsible for the implementation, administration, interpretation, and enforcement of safety environmental requirements including plant, Corporate, local, state, and federal regulations.Establish safety environmental standards based on risk/hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements and HSE management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).Review of HSE incidents for root cause and establishment of corrective and preventative actions.
Provide technical assistance with various plant staff functions.Coordinate plant safety teams.Develop/revise HSE related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementationDevelop HSE related communication including training, safety alerts, and production review meetingsInteract with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with EPA andState specific requirementsAssist with environmental compliance and reporting needs for the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Toxic Release Inventory Program, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, etc.Conduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirementsAssist/lead change management tasks and conduct machine release inspectionsAssist and lead safety and environmental audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bosch NormsCoordinate safety and environmental related communication including training, alerts, and production review meetingsLead/take part in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actionsParticipate in/lead plant emergency response teamsConducts formal reviews of new equipment, equipment modifications, or process changesProvide leadership and guidance to the plant safety teamsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree- OR - High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environment3+ years of HSE experience in a warehouse, production or industrial environment preferredMust possess: (1) the ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and resolve unusually complex management and technical problems; (2) excellent verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings; (3) the ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information; and (4) excellent computer skills: MS Office Suite Applications.Valid Driver's LicenseAbility to work independently and with a teamPreferred Qualifications:B.S.
in Engineering, Health, Sciences, Occupational Safety, Environmental, or other related fieldKnowledge of regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, ISO, RCRA, etc.
