We are looking for a SERVICES ENGINEER for our Site in Bologna.
The Service Signalling Engineer will contribute to the Signaling Service Engineering activities, in particular in the two areas of development of digital initiatives and services (Control Room) and ISR (Integrated Service Readiness) activities, i.e. all those activities that are preparatory to guarantee the correct maintenance of a signaling system.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities In its mission in relation to the development of Digital Services, the person will deal with:
Contribute pro-actively to the development of the Control Room, guaranteeing its correct functioning and identifying possible areas for improvementDefine the Software developments of the Control Room by means of "agile" specificationsImprove the internal technical assistance process through the proposal of new digital services (improvement of call recording, management of documentation and reporting)Define possible proposals to offer to the customer in terms of digital services related to signaling maintenance activitiesContribute to the maintenance and configuration of the Control Room and digital servicesContribute to the preparation of the documentation necessary for the use and maintenance of the Control Room and digital servicesContribute to the definition of the Control Room and Digital Services roadmap together with the Service Signaling Engineering ManagerIn its mission in relation to ISR activities, the person will deal with:
Review and define areas for improvement in the maintenance manuals provided by D&ISDefine maintenance plans based on the maintenance manuals provided by D&ISContribute to the construction of the LCC related to the maintenance of signaling systemsContribute to the definition of the management plans for ObsolescencePropose, jointly with the Service management, possible roadmaps for updating the signaling systems in terms of BaselineDefine the training plans both for the internal staff of the Signaling Service and for the customer's staffContribute to the definition of the RAM data collection processAdditional activities that can be carried out are:
Continuous improvement through the adoption of digital processes and services of the aforementioned activitiesParticipation in tenders by analyzing the technical requirements and drafting the related technical documentationParticipation in D&IS DFQ cycles for the definition of the Maintainability requirements of the signaling systemsProposals for improvement of tools and diagnostic tools developed by D&ISContribute to the management of obsolescence in charge of the Service structureRequirements Degree in Engineering (Electronic – IT – Telecommunications), MSC in Engineering will be considered a plusResult and customer orientationGood predisposition to team workKnowledge of SAP and RAMKnowledge of digital services and web applicationsGood knowledge of Windows operating systems and the office packagePredisposition for continuous learning and updating on the digital worldPrevious Experience (2+ years) in development of Hardware and/or Software Electronic Systems and Solutions or in Engineering activities will be considered a plusThe knowledge of the following topics will be considered a plus:
