Technical Support Specialist for Railway Signalling Systems

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our Services Signalling Business Unit, you will be responsible for providing technical support to maintenance activities on Railway Signalling Systems operated by our domestic and international customers.

Key Responsibilities
System performance monitoring
Execution and supervision of HW and SW system upgrades
Technical expertise with product engineering in case of unknown bugs or unknown behavior
Providing customer feedback to improve products and meet customer needs
Providing training to customer maintenance staff
Definition and implementation of maintenance and technical assistance plans
Coordination and support to maintenance technicians on field
Providing support to Service organization in the definition of maintenance strategy in tenders and offers
Cooperation with product engineering in the definition of maintainability requirements during the product's design phase

Requirements
Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
Basic knowledge of electronic design principles and methodology
Basic knowledge of common operating systems and net protocols (TCP/IP, ...)
Capability to interpret electric drawings and schemes
Capability to use test tools (oscilloscope, wave generator, multimeter, etc.)
Knowledge of railways signalling systems and principles will be a plus
Capability to perform analysis and relate information from different contexts
Capability to work in team and attitude to problem solving
Capability to work in stress and urgency conditions
