Alstom is a leading company in the mobility sector, committed to creating a sustainable future for transportation. We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect to join our Traffic Management System (TMS) team.

Purpose of the Job

  • Design and develop advanced railway signalling systems, ensuring they meet the requirements of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system requirements, interfaces, and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain system designs, including formal modelling and requirements writing.
  • Ensure system ownership, from design to implementation, and verify matching of system and software design.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Specific domain knowledge in mainline railway signalling, with experience in TMS/CTC area.
  • Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and SysML knowledge, with a bonus for System Engineering Certification.
  • Software engineering experience in complex systems, with 3 or more years of working experience in the last 10 years.
  • Understanding of structured requirements management and knowledge of CENELEC EN50126 and EN50128 European norms.
  • Mandatory English language fluency, with a bonus for French.
