About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway Signalling Systems Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our Maintenance and Technical Assistance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to maintenance activities on Railway Signalling Systems operated by our domestic and international customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor system performance and execute and supervise HW and SW system upgrades.
  • Provide technical expertise with product engineering in case of unknown bugs or unknown behavior.
  • Offer customer feedback to improve products and meet customer needs.
  • Provide training to customer maintenance staff.
  • Define and implement maintenance and technical assistance plans.
  • Coordinate and support maintenance technicians on field.
  • Support the service organization in defining maintenance strategy in tenders and offers.
  • Collaborate with product engineering in defining maintainability requirements during the product's design phase.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic design principles and methodology.
  • Knowledge of railways signalling systems and principles.
  • Capability to interpret electric drawings and schemes.
  • Capability to use test tools (oscilloscope, wave generator, multimeter, etc...).
