The ultra-modern shapes were trademarks of the house. While the brand's identity is firmly rooted in its highly conceptual prêt-à-porter collections, its leather goods, footwear, and accessories experience worldwide success as well. Among the archetypal products of the House are its handbag collections. A new focus on the development of Balenciaga ready-to-wear collections for men was quickly established as highly successful. Since October 2015, Demna has designed both men's and women's collections as the artistic director. The Balenciaga House, part of the Kering group since 2001, is one of the most influential names in fashion.We are currently seeking a Department Manager who will report to the Store Manager.Job DescriptionYour OpportunityYou can significantly contribute to the store sales, by providing Balenciaga signature to all internal and external clients, support the management team and represent Balenciaga brand and image.How you will contributeImplement action plans defined with the HQ and Store Manager and ensure follow-upCommunicate high quality relevant feedback and reporting to Store ManagerCreate and maintain a positive and motivating work environmentMotivate and challenge store management and store team on a regular basisPartner with the Store Manager to recruit, train and develop your teamBehave as a Balenciaga Ambassador, sustain and promote the culture of the brand internally and externallyEnsure Balenciaga Signature and Client experience are executed and consistent over timeAssure the recruitment, development and retention of clients, from beginners to VICsEnsure that all the processes are in compliance with legal, safety, internal requirements, sustainability, HR and stock organizationExecute team planning on a weekly and monthly basis and summit it the Store ManagerChallenge current processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in your departmentWho you areDiploma and above in any discipline with at least 6 years relevant experience in luxury retail industry which 3 years at managerial levelInclusive leadership style and excellent organizational skillsAdaptable, persuasive, responsible, open-minded and dynamic team playerWillingness of learning and improving in a new work environmentProduct and Fashion sensitivityExcellent people management, customer service and interpersonal skillGood command of both spoken and written English and ChineseGood PC skills such as MS Office and other digital toolsWhy work with us?This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Balenciaga philosophy and to become part of a team that offers possibilities to learn and grow.
