TASKS: Analysing of customer's needs to propose mechanical solutions that can fit the needs of printed circuit board design Providing mechanical solutions taking power dissipation, IP ratings and insulation regulations into account Providing solutions considering volumes, production, and design to manufacturing Management of purchases of components Maintaining constant contact with mechanical suppliers, planning sampling and finding design solutions to keep production costs down Interaction with cross-functional teams (PCB design, electronic engineers etc.)
