Overview:

Sidel is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our team. The primary responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at client locations. This role also encompasses providing technical support during and post-warranty periods, as well as conducting training and other after-sales services for Sidel's equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and analyze equipment performance at customer facilities, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, and safety standards;
  • Oversee the installation of new machinery and upgrades;
  • Effectively manage and document equipment discrepancies;
  • Generate Job Progress Charts and technical documentation related to completed tasks;
  • Strive for optimal satisfaction of both internal and external clients;
  • Execute tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination guidelines, and client protocols;
  • Identify and report potential after-sales opportunities observed at customer sites;
  • Mentor junior team members on site conduct, technical tasks, troubleshooting, and documentation;
  • Communicate with the ISM regarding team activities on-site.

Candidate Profile:

  • Educational Background and Language Proficiency:
  • Technical professional qualification is required;
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Experience and Skills Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in field operations;
  • Background in the beverage sector is preferred;
  • Strong technical foundation;
  • Familiarity with Sidel's product range is a plus;
  • Willingness to travel approximately 180 to 200 days annually.
