About the Role

Sidel is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Perform installation, start-up, and commissioning of Sidel equipment at customer sites, ensuring that all technical and contractual specifications are met.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to customers during and after the warranty period, including training and after-sales services.
  • Equipment Evaluation: Test and evaluate equipment performance at customer sites, identifying any issues or non-conformities.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare job progress charts and technical reports to document activities and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality services and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Team Collaboration: Coach junior colleagues on on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables.
Requirements
  • Education and Languages: Degree in a technical field and fluency in English, both written and spoken. Additional foreign languages are a plus.
  • Experience and Skills: At least 2 years of experience in field activities, with a strong technical background and knowledge of the beverage industry. Availability to travel up to 180/200 days per year.
