Field Service Technician II

As a valued member of our team, the Field Service Technician II will oversee a range of service functions, including but not limited to installation, customer onboarding, repairs, maintenance, validation, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with instruments utilized by the ICLC - LSMS division (Ion and Liquid Chromatography – Life Science Mass Spectrometry).

Conduct on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, qualifications, and validations.

Ensure all service activities related to the specific instrumental sector (installations, basic training, repairs, and maintenance) are executed with optimal efficiency.

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional repair and support services.

Adopt a client-centric approach, collaborating effectively with other teams and sales personnel.

Prioritize and schedule all repair, maintenance, and qualification tasks based on urgency.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

A professional background in Electronics, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields is required.
Minimum of 1-5 years of experience servicing analytical equipment or similar applications within the life sciences sector.

• Proven organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.
• Strong interpersonal, self-motivational, and negotiation abilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills (including English), with the ability to engage across all levels, functions, and regions.
• Competent PC skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the designated region and occasionally throughout Europe for training or special assignments, including the EMEA territory as required.
