Overview:
Sidel is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Field Service Specialist. This role primarily involves the following responsibilities: Installation, initiation, commissioning, and testing of Sidel equipment at client locations; Providing technical support during and post-warranty periods, along with training and additional after-sales services for Sidel's machinery installed at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze equipment performance at client facilities, adhering to technical, contractual, and safety standards;
- Oversee the installation of new machinery and enhancements;
- Manage, inspect, and address equipment discrepancies;
- Develop Job Progress Charts and technical documentation related to completed tasks;
- Ensure the highest level of satisfaction for both internal and external clients;
- Conduct activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination guidelines, and client protocols;
- Identify and report after-sales opportunities observed at client locations;
- Mentor junior staff on-site conduct, technical tasks, troubleshooting, and documentation;
- Provide updates to the Installation Site Manager regarding team activities.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background and Language Proficiency:
- Technical professional qualification required;
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken;
- Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in field operations;
- Background in the beverage sector;
- Strong technical foundation;
- Familiarity with Sidel's product range is beneficial;
- Willingness to travel approximately 180 to 200 days annually.
