French Linguistic Independent Contractor - Must speak native French and have experience living and hiking in France What you'll be doing: Provide French (fr-FR) style and tone feedback Review and translate content to ensure linguistic consistency and qualityProvide linguistic and cultural feedback on localized productsProvide manual linguistic QA of French productCatch and report linguistic bugs in French on web and mobile platformsMaintain and edit French glossary and style guideWork closely with internal teams on translation and localization projectsRequirements:Native French speakerDemonstrated success as a professional translator in the tech and/or marketing spaceRecent experience living in FranceStrong level of English as a source languageProfessional experience writing original content in FrenchExperience working with computer-assisted translation (CAT) toolsExpert cross-functional communication skills in EnglishAbility to work within tight deadlinesAbility to connect with business partners as needed and for biweekly meetings during business hours (Pacific Time)$21 - $27 an hour
