French Linguistic Independent Contractor - Must speak native French and have experience living and hiking in France What you'll be doing: Provide French (fr-FR) style and tone feedback Review and translate content to ensure linguistic consistency and quality Provide linguistic and cultural feedback on localized products Provide manual linguistic QA of French product Catch and report linguistic bugs in French on web and mobile platforms Maintain and edit French glossary and style guide Work closely with internal teams on translation and localization projects Requirements: Native French speaker Demonstrated success as a professional translator in the tech and/or marketing space Recent experience living in France Strong level of English as a source language Professional experience writing original content in French Experience working with computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools Expert cross-functional communication skills in English Ability to work within tight deadlines Ability to connect with business partners as needed and for biweekly meetings during business hours (Pacific Time)$21 - $27 an hour
