About You:
We're now hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR). You will be part of a small but mighty team, working collaboratively with the Director of Southern Europe to find strategic accounts, drive growth and pipeline, and build meaningful relationships with new clients.
This role is for someone with 1-2 years of experience and a background in sport. Your background in sports means playing sports at the county level or higher and/or having worked for a sports organisation.
Performance Outcomes:
- Provide a great customer experience for Data Talks' prospective customers
- Rapidly develop your skill set around value-based selling
- Conduct account and prospect research to inform and develop compelling outreach campaigns to drive engagement in key target accounts
- Maintain active outbound communications with prospects using creative follow-up, including personalized email, cold calling, and social selling
- Collaborate with the Account Executives and the Director of Southern Europe to develop territory strategy, build pipeline, and drive deals
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Pipedrive
- Meet and exceed monthly targets
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Track record of top performance or prior success in a BDR-related role (a minimum of 1-year experience required)
- Superior communication skills, especially listening and questioning in phone-based and in-person scenarios
- Strong interest in technology, with a general understanding of the MarTech landscape
- Self-starter who is determined to succeed, learn, and able to operate in a hyper-growth environment
- Positive contributor to team and company culture
- Fluency in Italian and English. Additional language skills are a plus.
