In the role of Data Center Site Manager, you are responsible for End-to-end ownership and accountability of our clients' datacenter technical site. You are responsible for managing the infrastructure in the assigned data center, in conjunction with the Operations Director to ensure optimum performance by implementing and supervising the Planned Preventative Maintenance program.
Requirements: Ensuring management of facilities services through third party contractors, or direct via staffEnsuring site cleanliness (through third party contractors)Site Opex (Operating Expenses) budgetManaging maintenance costInstallation of new infrastructureSupporting ISO14001 (Environmental) ISO27001 (Information Security Management System)Day to day site running.Maintenance and repair of existing infrastructureMonitoring of all infrastructureCompleting capacity reportingMonitoring of energy efficiency and proactively seek & record savings.Managing maintenance costsWriting of standard and emergency operations procedures and training of operative staffAvailable for out of hours planned and reactive support, included the on call ROTA.Liaise with Landlord representatives.Identifies team technical and professional development and training.Day to day team leading of others 3rd parties on site, including Security.Small works requestsSite Opex cost controlling (including PO raising)Support Site Capex forecastingEnergy Efficiency (Opex Savings Targets)Apply and maintain Site Health & Safety rules.Sales and commercial support including bid support and site tours.Reports for customers (power, temperature, humidity…)Other reasonable tasks around the site/ stakeholders am within professional competences when necessary.
Qualifications: Degree level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent level of job experienceMembership of relevant professional body (desirable)Excellent Interpersonal skillsPersonal drive, highly self-motivated and self-organizedAbility to work well under pressureExcellent Team Player and ability to work in an international teamFlexibility and creativityWillingness to travel between data centers on a regular basisFluent in Local Language and English (written and spoken), additional European languages is an assetDemonstrate critical thinking and innovation in approaching traditional data center problems and emergent challenges.Full driving license
