Who we are looking for
Purpose We are seeking a highly motivated public affairs specialist to join our dynamic team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of European environmental policies, ESG and sustainability trends.
The successful candidate will report to the head of the Brussels Liaison Office and will be integrated in the internal environmental governance.
Main Responsibilities Monitor and analyze European environmental policies and help the company identifying areas of impact.
Represent Chiesi in European and international advocacy and expert platforms, trade associations focused on sustainability.
Develop and implement effective strategies to inform European policies.
Help Chiesi expanding its network.
Draft and review policy documents, including position papers, letters and news.
Experience Required Minimum of 3 years of experience in international or Brussels-based public affairs work (corporate, consultancy, NGO, trade association, EU institutions).
Education Master's degree in a relevant field, such as political science.
Languages Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and another EU language. Basic knowledge of Italian is a plus.
Technical Skills Experience with EU institutions and processes.
Strong understanding of EU legislative process and the EU institutions.
Will be considered as a strong plus:
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory landscape.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and advocacy.
Proficiency in EU data protection regulations.
Soft Skills Analytical skills.
Emotional and social intelligence.
