Aiming to strengthen our FEA Department for important projects within the Aviation industry, we are recruiting a FEM Structural Analysis Engineer - Aero Turbines.

Location: Area Torino

The selected candidate will be part of a team providing engineering support for development programs related to aero engines/gearboxes, and will be involved in simulation, analysis, and structural calculation activities on individual mechanical components or complex systems.

Ideal Candidate Requirements: MSc in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering; Experience, even if academic, in FEM analysis and simulation (static, dynamic, thermal, etc.) of mechanical components, using tools such as ANSYS, Hypermesh, Patran/Nastran (previous knowledge of ANSYS Workbench and/or APDL is a preferred qualification); Experience/capacity to develop macros and scripts for pre-processing/post-processing activities; Background in turbomachinery and basic experience/capacity in using CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX, Solid Edge) will be considered preferred qualifications; Good command of the English language. Additionally, the ideal profile should possess strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, organizational skills, result orientation in a dynamic work environment characterized by strict deadlines, reliability, teamwork attitude, as well as strong communication and relationship management skills, along with organizational flexibility and willingness to travel.
