Position SummarySupervises the day-to-day operations of the unit. Ensures that all policies and procedures are enforced and adhered to. Directs subordinates to accomplish goals and objectives of the operation. Responsible for daily operational and administrative tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise in the food production area, ensuring that employees adhere to time guidelines for service.Inventory and order food as needed by the establishment.Supervise the receiving and storage of food and supplies.Coordinate maintenance and custodial problems with the Unit Manager.Assist the Unit Manager in the training of employees.Minimum QualificationsProven food service experience in areas of responsibility.Three years minimum food service supervisory experience.Written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently under general supervision.Familiarity with general kitchen equipment.Preferred QualificationsServ Safe Certification.Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work HoursAbility to lift up to 30 pounds independently.Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Ability to push/pull up to 30 pounds independently.Ability to use various chemicals.Special Message to ApplicantsMust be flexible with scheduling based on needs of operation and special events.
