As our next Sales Account Manager , you will be responsible for the success of our Agilent Chemistries & Supplies consumables portfolio , including our GC & HPLC columns, our sample preparation solutions and laboratory equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include: Generating existing and/or new sales across different accounts & industry on your designated territory.
Developing accounts and maintaining positive ongoing long-term relationships with key customers.
Acting to understand customer needs and identifying solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to create business opportunities.
Promoting and selling products and/or solutions to current or new customers and informing customers of new product introductions.
Creating monitors and revising lead generation plans.
Determining and developing approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/strategies.
Leading projects requiring coordination with other functions and organizations.
This role won't be head-office based, and you will be working remotely combined with travel to customer sites in Central Italy , especially in the Lazio region but also across Umbria , Toscana , and Emilia-Romagna (a company car will be available to you).
Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background: University Degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry...) or potentially another Life Science field.
Significant experience in sales to laboratories and good knowledge of laboratory workflows .
Good knowledge of analytical techniques such as chromatography , spectrometry , and/or spectroscopy .
Full proficiency in Italian and at least good level of English .
On a personal level, you are autonomous , outgoing , and customer-focused .
You also have excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to interact with many external and internal partners.
You show a real can-do attitude , resilience , and you like to help others .
Whilst being flexible and adaptable , you have also strong planning , organizational , and time management skills .
