Alliance Resource Group has partnered with a very successful $80M manufacturer and is seeking an Assistant Controller to lead all accounting matters.
The Job: As the Assistant Controller, you will be a strategic partner to leadership. Working under the Controller, this role will prepare financial statements, oversee a small team, and support operations.
Additional responsibilities: Facilitate the month-end close process.Complete monthly account reconciliations.Provide accurate reporting for management.Support the audit process.Implement new processes and procedures.Assist in budgeting and forecasting.Preferred background: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Engineering with a Business minor preferred.Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.Must be proficient with MS Office and any variety of ERP systems.
