**Job Title**: Quality Control Manager - Government Services - Aviano, Italy
**Overview**:
The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible to oversee and be responsible for all quality control aspects of the services required under this contract including execution of the company's Quality Control Program.
The QCM will ensure regulatory compliance and maintenance requirements are in accordance with the contract.
Manager is guided by thorough knowledge of engineering techniques, plant operation methods, and applicable codes and regulations.
All employees must have proof of U.S.
Citizenship, a valid state driver's license and a passport and must be eligible for base access throughout the project geographic scope
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Plans, organizes, and controls functions of computerized programs in maintenance operations, construction, and quality in partnership with the Contract Maintenance Manager (CMM).

- Prepares and maintains flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of assigned workload and adherence to standards of quality control through use of computerized accounting system to include operating costs, labor, and projects.
- Reviews, evaluates, and implements methods, systems, programs, practices, and procedures.
Recommending changes to the CMM.
- Set-up, audit, and maintain office, including warehouse, blueprint index, manufacturer library, documentation filing system, and all other maintenance department records.
- Review, research, gather data, and prepare reports on quality assurance related to day-to-day operations.
(i.e.
Client Meetings, Monthly Corporate Reports, etc.
)
- Assists with responsibilities of the department and shares weekend duties with other site managers.
- Maintains working knowledge of all mechanical, electrical, and auxiliary functions.
- Performs a variety of supervisory and managerial functions.
- Supervises department staff in partnership with the CMM.
- Monitors and inspects work performance to assure performance standards are maintained through use of computer reports.
- Establishes and coordinates work schedule to assure necessary staff coverage in partnership with the CMM.
- Assigns and distributes work to staff on an as needed basis.
- Leads departmental training and orientation.
- Responsible for the Quality Control Program.
(i.e.
Work Order Audits, Accident Hazard Analysis, Mechanical Space Inspections, Department Evaluations, Hazard Rounds, etc.
)
- Reviews and writes specifications for corrective maintenance and minor construction and renovation projects.
- Manages and maintains customer service relations with other facility departments, staff, and patients.
- Monitors and coordinates a variety of preventative maintenance and building/ property repair and improvement projects performed by vendors and contractors.
Inspects completed work and approves requests for payment.
- Continuously monitor and audits regulatory compliance documentation; ensure all documentation meets the requirements of all authorities having jurisdiction and the environment of care.
- Performs related and other departmental duties as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality control evaluation and reporting in the fields of construction or facility management work.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in comparably sized health facilities.
- Experience in supporting diverse operations and project management programs and developing initiatives to continually improve services provided.
- A thorough understanding of medical facilities preferred.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices, and procedures.
- Understanding of government regulations, OSHA, NFPA, and The Joint Commission.
- Strong Customer service skills and excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
- Self-starter; ability to work with mínimal daily guidance.
- Basic knowledge of office administration, reporting, budgeting, business operations, blueprints, grounds, equipment, maintenance, housekeeping, clinical engineering, purchasing, inventory control, and general management.
- Experience working in and around military medical sites and operations; experience with operation of the Defense Medical Logistics Support Standard (DMLSS) Facility Management Module as a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in written format and oral presentations.
- Bilingual - ability to speak and read in the host country language at an advance level.
- Must be able to reside in the host country.
