BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
You will assume a strategic role in managing product and service categories for indirect procurement, focusing on store planning, retail operations, visual merchandising, and general services within the luxury fashion sector. With 5-10 years of experience, You will be part of a centralized competence center whose mission is to buy, at the best commercial conditions, the best possible good/service from the right supplier, protecting the company from reputational, quality and financial risks/inefficiencies and ensuring Compliance with SOX and SoD rules. At the same time, You will have to actively seek for product/service innovation from the market and contribute to achieve ESG targets.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF: Market scouting and segmentation: Conduct comprehensive market research, develop Category strategy and supplier segmentation to identify preferred buying channels, identify emerging trends specifically in store planning, retail operations, visual merchandising, and general services. Supplier Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers in store planning, retail operations, visual merchandising, and general services, securing favorable terms and ensuring the highest quality and consistency with ESG targets. Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of categories and suppliers, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective strategies. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and the success of category initiatives. Budget Management: Work with store planning, retail operations, visual merchandising, and general services functions ensuring efficient spending within budget constraints. WHAT MAKES YOU, MAKES OUR TEAM Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Architecture; 5-10 years of experience in senior category management, specifically in luxury or fashion companies; In-depth knowledge of market dynamics in store planning, retail operations, visual merchandising, and general services; Strong analytical and budget management skills; Excellent ability to prepare and present documents/powerpoints and business cases that are clear, comprehensive, and compelling; Proven negotiation and relationship-building expertise; Ability to work independently and collaboratively; Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken). These teams are divided into two areas: textiles and apparel. 

Since 1910, we have been guided by the vision of our founder, Eremengildo Zegna, to create the world's most beatutiful fabrics. Today, our textile teams continue this tradition, creating fabrics and accessory collections through a considered combination of craftmanship and innovation. 

Our apparel production units and teams that create our ready to wear, made to measure, knitwear, and leather goods, produce garments according to our high quality standards and innovative processes and techniques.

Most of these teams are based at our our global headquarters in Milan. The CRM and Content Brand Marketing teams, however, are present globally. Those at our headquarters define Zegna's brand image and overarching strategy, while those in the regions collect market insight and adapt the central strategy to meet the needs and cultures of local markets.
