Position overview: As the Quality Administrator you are a key member of the Quality team, reporting to the Quality Manager.
You will contribute to the success of Ball bysupporting the manager and his team in managing daily activities related to quality control and product quality standards, as well as environmental, safety and hygiene objectives (HACCP).
It relates internally to the Production functions and staff, while externally it relates to suppliers and customers.
Key responsibilities include: • Collaborate with the Manager and the Quality Supervisor in ensuring the conformity of the finished product, in line with the specifications established by the customer.
• Provide support during audits requested by customers and third parties.
• Collaborate with the Quality Management Committee in the management, issue, application and verification of ISO 9000 Quality procedures in accordance with the provisions of the procedures and the quality manual of the Division.
• Plan and actively participate in training and information of employees / new hires.
• Observe the regulations regarding Safety, Hygiene, Environment and HACCP.
• Contribute to maintaining compliance with the BRC/IoP Standard.
• Control and calibrate quality related gauges, correct in case of fails.
• Perform internal audits and Gemba works.
• Provide support while preparing Claims.
• Maintain contact with supplier: cleaning and calibration service.
• Manage internal and external audit/inspection.
• Provide CoA to customer.
Experience and skills required: • Diploma or degree in chemistry • Good computer knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Office package • Good knowledge of process statistics • Good knowledge of the English language Ball Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
