A partnership with JLL gives our clients a single point of contact for support in acquisition advice, asset management, financing, investment sales, project and development services, operator selection and contract negotiation, research consultancy, strategic advisory, valuations, and value recovery.We are currently seeking a Director for Italy Hotels Capital Markets for our EMEA Hotels & Hospitality Capital Markets business line.
This is a permanent, full-time position and will report directly to Senior Managing Director, EMEA Hotels & Hospitality.Responsibilities include:Create and execute the strategic plan for transactions in ItalyIdentify market trends and opportunities, proposing new services and adaptations to the existing portfolioPlay a key role in business development, new client acquisition, and client retention across all the services which the Hotels Transactions, Advisory & Asset Management team providesWork seamlessly with the EMEA team to deliver portfolio transactionsEnsure optimum delivery capability across the team through planning, training and development, and networking across the broader JLL network where appropriateDeliver the JLL Hotels division to clients throughout Italy and the regional market, acting as a trusted advisor to key clients and building a strong personal networkActively contribute in the EMEA Hotels leadership forum, working on cross-divisional projectsEnsure close cooperation and build a trusted relationship within the EMEA Hotels & Hospitality team as well as the wider JLL firm.Requirements:Excellent academic track record educated to degree level; a professional hospitality or real estate qualification would be an advantage e.g.
RICS, HCIMARelevant work experience with 10+ years with an investment bank, hospitality advisor or investor, and experience of both international and operational dealsTrack record of end-to-end deal involvement from either side of the transaction with experience of driving the processExperience of successfully handling multiple projects and keeping parallel processes on trackIntellectually agile accompanied by excellent technical skills including financial modelling and analytical capabilityIn-depth knowledge of the investor base, including large international operators, private equity funds and family offices, and how to sell into these successfullyKnowledge of the European hospitality market would be preferred, including working knowledge of the hospitality investment, valuation, acquisition, development and asset management processes as well as financingOutstanding communication and presentation skills coupled with a balanced technical knowledgeGood commercial acumen and sense for doing business; entrepreneurial; origination hustleResults-driven, always striving to achieve challenging targets and deadlines; resilientAbility to travel throughout Europe essential.
