Our Parma Site is looking for a Global Sales Manager (Regular contract)

About the job:
The main purpose of the position is to lead and develop the global sales business in Prepared Food and Beverage Systems through our Sales Companies. You will manage the global sales team and secure coverage in lead generation and quotation from a commercial and technical perspective, as well as provide strategic direction to drive profitable business growth.
Key tasks:
Leadership and management of the global sales team
Ensure that we run our business with a clear marketing strategy based on understanding of our markets, customers, and competitors.
Motivate and drive Sales Companies to generate demand in established businesses through the global sales team.
Secure business plans and enable sales strategies in alignment with Alfa Laval's sales companies.
Enable business development directly with customers, as well as with contractors and consultants.
Provide a clear and competitive offer of products and services for specific industries and applications, including lifecycle approach.
What you know
You have a degree in engineering, food science, business administration, or similar.
10+ years of experience in relevant industry segments such as prepared food, beverage, or dairy.
Demonstrated success in project sales, showcasing the ability to convince customers and make informed decisions through strategic questioning.
Customer-oriented approach with exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong business relationships.
Able to adapt and respond flexibly to meet diverse customer needs and requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are crucial for this role.
Previous experience in the aseptic field (sterilization, filling) is an advantage.
