GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure accuracy and credibility of reporting and forecasts provided by the Finance groupLead the budget preparation process by partnering with department leaders to gather accurate data. Drive accountability for budget accuracyEstablish profitability goals with the executive team and drive the company to achieve the goalsUnderstand the vision of the company and build and execute a financial plan aligned with that visionSteer the company to mitigate financial risks and maximize opportunitiesOversee and execute on strategic mergers and acquisitionsProvide high level financial analysis to help influence business decisionsDevelop and utilize financial models for analyzing trends and variancesWork closely with Fanatics International Finance Team on reporting and other strategic initiatives EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. Due to continual changes in tax regulations, continuing Education is required.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Previous experience in eCommerce / Retail, preferably in the apparel industry15+ years of experience in a Financial Management capacity Fluency in Italian and English Requires strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skillsRequires strong business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presenceGeneral knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practicesRequires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbalCommunicates ideas and/or position on a variety of issues both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner to employees and clients at all levelsAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional mannerSkill in productivity, planning, and workload managementRequires solid decision-making and problem solving skillsStrong analytical, statistical, and problem solving skills Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and publicJOB LEVELS: Finance Executive
Directs and controls the Strategic Finance activities of Fanatics Italy. Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods. Participates with other senior managers in establishing strategic plans and objectives. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the business and/or industry. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with customers or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization. Typically requires more than 15 years of strategic finance experience.
