Position Overview

The Head of Finance is a new role within our organization, created in response to our development from a local Italian company into a global entity.

The demand for this role was driven by the need for strategic financial guidance as we continue to grow and expand our operations.

The selected candidate will be part of our executive team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Main Responsibilities
  • Advising and guiding on the best path of growth for the business
  • Controlling all financial aspects of the company
  • Providing strategic financial guidance to the CEO and management team
  • Leading and supervising the accounts and controlling team
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as Head of Finance in a manufacturing SME with all disciplines (Sales, R&D, Production)
  • Background of solid administrative and financial processes
  • Experience with international units
  • Ability to simplify complex financial topics and data, educating the audience
  • Familiarity with ICT systems, SAP is a plus
  • Great leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in interacting with C-level members and with different types of stakeholders
Scope and Responsibilities
  • Presenting and reporting accurate financial information of the company to the board and all stakeholders
  • Project leader for the annual budget process
  • Overseeing administrative functions across the HQ and the two branches
  • Developing and monitoring internal control systems designed to report accurate financial results
  • Interpreting controlling data, giving advice and guidance on strategic matters
  • Responsible for the company's overall financial health
  • Retaining constant awareness of the company's financial position
  • Participating in developing new business plans (ROI calculation)
  • Developing and implementing tax strategies to optimize the company's fiscal position, coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors
  • Training and increasing awareness and knowledge related to financial management and cost management matters across the organization
  • Identifying, assessing, and responding to ongoing and emerging risks in compliance with regulations and company policies
