We're on a fast and ambitious trajectory, serving 90% of the automotive manufacturers. To continue our growth, we're seeking a highly energetic and motivational Head of Engineering to lead our teams.

About the Role

As a Head of Engineering, you will be the servant leader of 3-5 cross-functional teams. You will empower, challenge, and give them constructive feedback to help them become high-performing teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Product Owners and Engineering Teams to build and execute roadmaps, making explicit technical constraints that can affect delivery time and prioritization.
  • Liaising with architects and other senior engineers to remove blockers limiting our capacity to get things done.
  • Engaging different stakeholders and managers to fill the communication gap and reduce friction, providing reports and insights supported by Agile/Lean metrics.
  • Supporting career progression, providing mentoring, coaching, and training, and identifying next-generation leaders.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with a solid software engineering background, knowledge of modern frameworks, architectural principles, and testing methodologies. Experience in leading SaaS technology organizations, managing all aspects of successful projects, and growing and optimizing software engineering teams is essential.

Additionally, you should have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as XP/Scrum and Lean practices, and experience working in an environment that promotes a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration, and Delivery.
