Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Junior Cost Accountant to join the Luxury Cost Accountant Team within the wider F&A Department.
Location: our offices in Zola Predosa (Bologna), Italy.
Reporting into: Luxury Cost Accountant Supervisor
Contract Type: Maternity Cover
Workplace Type: Hybrid
Role purpose: The candidate will assist the Cost Accountant team and provide support in managing warehouse accounting, especially related to the Documental flow in Accounting System (Navision). The Junior Cost Accountant will manage Supplier invoices and Credit Memos, Payment Authorization, Vendor Master Data Creation, RTV, and Evaluation Stock by the warehouse accounting Load. The candidate will also assist the Luxury Cost Accountant Supervisor in managing relationships with other areas, particularly Operations, Buying & Merchandising. The role will involve close contact with suppliers and managing internal and external reporting. Additionally, the candidate will support the team in the monthly closing activities.
Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
Monitor and check the Digital Production progress
Cross-check accounts and accounting documents
Identify and resolve problems linked to the administrative and operative flow
Manage periodic physical and fiscal warehouse inventory
Support the management of administrative inbound activities (3w-m), in line with physical and operative inbound
Manage attributing purchase costs of products entering the warehouse for all buying types
Record warehouse transactions for accounting purposes, related to both purchased and consignment goods
Support in periodic and/or ad hoc internal reporting and managing consignment reporting
Support in identifying process and/or system measures to optimize data flow and reliability
Support in warehouse activities and evaluations periodically during the closing process
Cooperate with various company areas involved in warehouse processes
Check the operative phase of the goods working progress and backlog reporting
Manage relationships with the main Luxury Partners
Manage internal and external reporting
The type of person we are looking for:
Diploma in Accounting or University degree in Economics.
Good knowledge of accounting principles
Reliability, accuracy, flexibility, and discretion
Good organizational skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach
Motivation in an administrative role
Excellent knowledge of English
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of Navision and SQL will be considered a plus
