International Talent Programme – Retail Consumer Lending

ING offers you the chance to make the absolute most of your talent on a traineeship within the bank: the International Talent Programme (ITP). During the traineeship ING will invest in your future now to develop the leaders of tomorrow.
At the beginning of your traineeship you'll rotate between different projects and departments within your track. After your rotations, you get to choose your long term position based on your experience and area of interest.

This is a comprehensive programme that provides talented graduates with the knowledge, skills and on-the-job experience to become ING's future leaders. We offer you the chance to shape your own ideas about banking in a receptive environment.
The program me is truly international with over 100 trainees in 14 different countries. For each year of the programme there will be a global event designed as a bootcamp to develop your personal skill in the process.
Key responsibilities:
The role offers a unique mix of product strategy & development , market and process analysis and commercial impact activities, aiming at building and managing 100% digital consumer lending products, tailored on our customer's needs.
Your main activities will be:
Analysis, management, development and harmonization of the Personal Loan product, related services and distribution channels ; Demonstrate creativity and innovation elaborating solutions to reduce friction and to optimize the existing processes ; C ollaborate with cross -functional teams to develop, test and launch new product features ; Monitor the product performance and the main market and internal KPI s ; Conduct market research to identify customer needs , market trends and competitive landscape ; Support the management of end-to-end lif ecycle of the Loan processes ; Translate business requirements in technological requirements, providing all the information needed for the development phase What your first 6-month rotation will let you focus on
Your will be part of Tribe Lending & Protection & Distribution Channels and your goal will be to innovate, simplify and create an effortless consumer lending for our customers .
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with different internal stakeholders ( such as Marketing, Pricing , Finance, Ris k) and you will have high visibility to senior leadership.
Your first rotation will give you ample opportunity to expand your network within INGand practice your stakeholder management skills.
What about your second rotation
With these new experiences and contacts, you are in charge to arrange your second rotation. Now it comes down to addressing your network and taking the initiative, also for an international experience that could be relevant for your personal and professional development.
Your second year
After two rotations, you now have a better understanding of which direction you would like to go and are ready to choose your third rotation. Are you broadening your knowledge within your track, or would you like to explore an area within another track? Both are an option for this rotation
During your third rotation you will set the stage for your fixed position, in the Tribe Lending & Protection & Distribution Channels , or in another position of your interest among the available opportunities within ING.
What we offer: Global events. Access to yearly 2-3 weeks global events with other ING International Talent Programme talents from all around the world.
Job rotations. Insights in various business units during the first 18 months and work abroad into one of our ING countries for 3 - 6 months. (if circumstances allow)
International onboarding. Following your local onboarding introduction, you will fly to our headquarters in Amsterdam for a two week-long international onboarding event. (if circumstances allow)
Trainings & learning experiences in different business lines to boost your knowledge and skill set.
Mentoring. Experienced ING executives will support your personal and professional development through regular feedback and coaching.
What we're looking for :
You have aBachelor/ M aster degree in M athematics , Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering or Business Studies( majors in Financial Markets or Banking will be considered a plus ) Excellent analytical skills and problem solving You have an innovative take on banking and an unconditional drive to turn your ideas into reality You are enthusiastic and consider the interests of our customers and your colleagues You act with integrity and responsibility. You are fluent in English and Italian; foreign candidates have an advanced knowledge of Italian (at least B2) You have a maximum of 2 years of professional experience ING's International Talent Programme is looking for smart, results-driven people to make banking awesome.
