Terna, the operator of the national transmission grid (NTG), is committed to the ecological transition process, and as the director of the electricity system and enabler of the Twin Transition (energy transition and digital innovation), it has the task of developing a grid capable of managing an even better integration of renewables and enabling the gradual decarbonisation of the system, while ensuring a constant balance between energy produced and energy consumed.

Terna is looking for talent in the role of Senior Legal-Regulatory Officer for the Rome office in the Regulatory Compliance and Network Code Area.
As a Senior Legal-Regulatory Officer you will perform the following duties:
Analysis and monitoring of regulatory developments in the electricity sector also through the preparation of reports/newsletters
Interpretation of sector regulations Evaluating the impact of developments in national and European regulations on the provisions of Terna's Grid Code; Drawing up framework agreements with operators in the electricity sector (capacity market contracts, dispatching contracts, contracts for forward resource procurement, etc.); Supporting the drafting of rules and regulations for insolvency proceedings; Preparing notes/memos for administrative disputes connected to regulated activities. Key requirements:
Master's degree in Law; 3-6 years of prior experience, preferably in regulated fields or in the energy sector; Good knowledge of English; Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills as well as flexibility, proactiveness and a results-based approach.
