Start your journey with us We're seeking a Senior Mixed-Methods UX Researcher , ideally with a solid foundation in behavioral and/or consumer psychology and expert knowledge and experience in research methodologies. To join our User Research Team in Barcelona. This hands-on role sits at the heart of our Product Design Lifecycle, focusing on research that shapes our user-centered designs. As a strategic thought leader, you'll bring deep insight into the psychology behind the numbers to better understand traveler behavior, actively influence stakeholders, and help drive research innovation and excellence. What you will do: The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges, and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Senior Mixed-Methods UX Researcher within the team, you will be in charge of: Collaborate and effectively communicate with product and business stakeholders to define impactful research topics aligned with strategic goals Lead quantitative research initiatives to answer complex behavioral questions, using advanced methodologies to analyze user attitudes and behaviors Champion research operations best practices to streamline processes, enhance visibility, and improve stakeholder alignment Implement AI-driven automation and machine learning techniques to optimize data analysis, synthesis, and reporting Design and execute end-to-end research projects using various methods, including large-scale surveys, statistical analysis, field studies, and usability testing Synthesize insights from multiple data sources (qualitative, quantitative, customer support, social media, etc.) into actionable recommendations that drive product development Mentor and support product designers and junior researchers in defining research questions, selecting methodologies, and interpreting findings Continuously optimize our research toolkit, identifying new tools, methods, and technologies to improve research quality and speed Advocate for the user voice and foster UX research understanding across all levels of the organization Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing and prioritizing research activities as we grow and scale You'll be a great fit if you: Have a deep understanding of research methodologies and are well-versed in behavioral and consumer psychology principles Have experience working in user research labs or using experimental design, eye tracking, biometrics, etc. Bring an entrepreneurial spirit, thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments, and are deeply team-oriented Excel in managing research workflows, driving process efficiencies, and ensuring data quality across multiple projects Are an AI and automation enthusiast with experience leveraging AI tools and methods to boost research speed, insights, and outputs Communicate complex concepts and data in clear, compelling ways for diverse stakeholders, including C-suite audiences, and enjoy fostering research education across the organization Are motivated to champion UX research, bringing excitement and innovation to the field Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience in data science, user research, applied research, or product research in an e-commerce, digital/mobile, and/or SAAS environment Alternatively, a Master's degree with 5 years or a PhD with 2 years of relevant experience Advanced degrees in fields like Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or similar areas focused on mixed-methods research Technical Skillset: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, STATA, SPSS, or equivalent for data analysis Solid grounding in statistical methods (e.g., regression analysis, ANOVA, hypothesis testing, etc.) Familiarity with survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Forsta) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, etc.) Familiarity with managing and analyzing large datasets in cloud storage platforms like AWS or BigQuery Language Requirements: Our business language is English, so fluency in reading, writing, and presenting in English is essential.
