Chiesi Corporate Functions These are the functions supporting the business: Global HR Global Finance, Procurement & IT Group Legal & Corporate Affairs Global Communication & External Relations Transformation Global Strategy, Sustainability and Growth (SSG) Who we are looking for Purpose Belonging to the Global Direct Procurement team, this role reports to the Global Direct Procurement Senior Director and is responsible for the Procurement of Licensing & CMO.
Main Responsibilities Execute spend analysis and spend forecast.
Identify savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
Support the supplier engagement and selection process (e.g., RFI, bidding, financial analysis, tendering, offer alignment and evaluation, approval process, rating, etc.)
in accordance with policies and procedures.
Support the supplier qualification process in accordance with Chiesi Sustainable Procurement guidelines.
Support the supplier evaluation process in accordance with Chiesi Sustainable Procurement guidelines.
Provide guidance to Operations colleagues and involve them in supplier evaluations.
Identify areas for improvement in the quality of services or goods and ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.
Manage the Suppliers Portfolio by aligning Supplier Criticality, Sourcing Strategy, and Risk Analysis, and maintain partnerships with Strategic Suppliers.
Define and monitor KPIs to analyze results, propose corrective actions, and track buying performance.
Support the definition and renewal of Supply Agreements, leveraging company volumes and ensuring adherence to Procurement, Legal, and Sustainability guidelines.
Manage and follow up on industrial purchase orders.
Prepare and manage supplier interviews in collaboration with internal departments (Supply Chain, Production, Quality Assurance, etc.).
Adhere to the Code of Conduct, anti-bribery policy, and other ethics and integrity policies.
Experience Required Preferred working experience in Procurement.
Education Academic degree in Engineering or Economics is preferred.
Languages Technical Skills Able to manage cross-functional and international relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of SAP ERP system.
