The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Global Category Manager API & Excipients to join our team. As a key member of our Global Direct Procurement team, you will be responsible for the procurement of API & Excipients at the corporate level.

Main Responsibilities
  • Execute spend analysis and forecast for API & Excipients category
  • Identify and bring savings and cost avoidance opportunities
  • Ensure Market Analysis for the most critical raw materials, guarantying the updating of market drivers and price trends
  • Guarantee the correct process of supplier engagement and selection
  • Manage the Direct Materials Standard Costs preparation
  • Ensure the supplier qualification process
  • Give guidance to the Operations colleagues
  • Identify areas of improvement on the quality of services or goods
  • Manage the Suppliers Portfolio
  • Define and monitor KPIs
  • Manage and follow-up of industrial purchase orders
  • Respect the Code of Conduct, Policy anti-bribery and other policies of our program of Ethics and Integrity
Requirements
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system will be considered a plus
  • Academic degree in Engineering or Economics
  • Fluent in English
  • Soft skills: able to manage cross-functional and international relations, good negotiations skills, problem-solving, and high focus on goals achievement
