We are looking for our next Inside Business Support Sales Representative to join Agilent's Diagnostics & Genomics Group (DGG) to develop the activity with both existing and new clients in the public & private sector (private laboratories, hospitals, universities…) in Italy . Together with the Field Sales Team (Account Managers) You will work on a wide portfolio of DGG products including healthcare diagnostics and clinical solutions , NGS products , molecular biology solutions , bio-reagents , software …
Your key responsibilities will include: • Understanding customer needs and potential interests on Agilent products, identifying solutions to non-standard tasks/queries to creates business opportunities
• Creating and profiling new potential leads, as well as creating monitors and revising lead generation plans.
• Supporting the Sales Field Team in generating existing and/or new sales opportunities, developing accounts and maintaining positive ongoing long-term relationships with our customers
• Promoting products and/or solutions to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product introductions
• Determining and developing approaches to sales assignments to achieve quota/ strategies
• Teaming up with our Marketing department in order to organize webinars, congresses, marketing activities, promotional campaigns etc
• Collaborating closely with our Sales Field Team and Business Operation Team in order to map revenues per Account, coordinate annual contracts review and Instrument Recovery plans.
• Working alongside with our Sales Director and Sales Managers in order to plan activities or tasks to expand the HealthCare business in Italy
• Working closely with our Field Support Teams in order to facilitate an Easy-of-doing-business approach with Agilent
For this role, you could ideally be based in our head-office in Milan (Cernusco sul Naviglio), however we are completely open to somebody being fully remote anywhere else in Italy . You might also travel to attend Congresses in the country in order to support the sales/marketing activities and meet our valuable customers (maximum 5% of the total business days/year).
Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with the following background:
• University Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Medicine…) 
• Experience in sales/remote sales with diagnostics , genomics , medical and/or clinical solutions would be a strong advantage 
• Knowledge of Histochemistry , Immuno-HistoChemistry , NGS , microarray based solutions is a strong plus
• Full fluency in Italian and good level in English
• Proficiency with Office Excel is a strong advantage
On a personal level, you are autonomous , outgoing and customer focused . You also have excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills to interact with many external and internal partners. You show a real can-do attitude , resilience and you like to help others . Whilst being flexible and adaptable , you have also strong planning , organizational and time management skills .
