Overview The primary function of this role is to assist the relevant Quality Assurance department by providing administrative support and becoming familiar with Cook Medical quality assurance processes.Position: Technician, Quality EngineeringReporting to: Team Lead, Quality Engineering/Team Lead, Post Market Surveillance Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the complaint investigation and regulatory reporting teams.Data generation, analysis and reporting for Quality Metrics, Trending and Post Market SurveillanceAssist in investigating quality issues.Monitor and maintenance of existing processes.Assist in creating and updating Quality System procedures/instructions.Assist in complaint investigation activities.Assist with Software Validation activities.Lead and/or support projects as they arise within the department.Supporting the department team as required.Ensure that Cook's Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook's behalf.
Qualifications Third level qualification in Quality, Science, Engineering or other relevant technical discipline.Experience of 1-2 years working in a regulated environment, ideally gained in the medical device industry, desirable.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation.Proactive approach to tasks.Excellent Microsoft Office skills.Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.Proven problem solving skills.Excellent written and spoken English for individuals whose native language is not English.Willingness and availability to travel on company business.We offerCook Medical has a healthy company culture with a strong common set of values.
