**Job Description**:
The key objective of the role is ensuring proactive and timely communication to customers and be the interface with internal functions to ensure high on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
The Customer Operations Specialist function offers the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensure the permanent interface with the customer from account creation until the invoicing
- Create customer accounts and maintaining them up to date
- Entering customer orders in the system, proactive communication, replying within 24hours, ensure that order books are up-to-date and shared with the customer
- Follow-up on orders from A to Z (from reception of the order to the delivery/Invoicing), ensuring perfect order execution to meet the customer requested date and timely invoicing
- Drive resolution to reach customer satisfaction, escalate in case of need
- Management and entering complaints
- Interface with logistics providers and site schedulers in EMEAI/USA
- Consider legal and administrative requirements related to national and international shipments
- For import/export: manage bookings and track shipments to ensure on-time arrival, manage credit process and coordination of documentation, interface with banks
- Consignment stock management as needed
- Work closely with the commercial team
- Participation in ad hoc projects aimed at improving procedures and working methods or reducing costs

- Proficiency in Microsoft software (Excel, Word & Outlook in particular)
- Good proficiency in English, able to have a professional conversation on the phone and via mail
- SAP experience is a must
