Production Planner

The Production Planner responsibilities include both master production planning and raw material planning for TWS factories.
The Production Planner will define the Master Production Plan of a factory taking into account, actual inventory values and stock targets, forecasted and actual demand from connected markets, production resources and constraints, raw material levels.
He/she will be in supporting stock optimization/phase-in - phase out campaigns, thus making sure that demand and supply flows are synchronized and aligned to the guidelines of strategic stock management.
He/she will cope with Sales team to review supply/production data and support to fulfill market requests while targeting the right inventory level.
**Job Description**:
With guidance from the Planning Director, the Production Planner has to develop, communicate, deploy and follow up a strong Production Planning process:
- Providing the production plans timely at item level according to the sales demand and the requested availability of finished goods.
- Liaising with manufacturing figuring out investments to make the production processes flexible and efficient.
- Liaising with marketing and sales department in new projects related to new products and business development.
- Monitoring the Production Plan execution to make sure it is in line with the scheduling.
- Liasing with Raw Material Planning Managers to make sure that Production Plans are supported by the right Raw Material stock level.
- Liasing with HR and Manufacturing Excellence executives in order to make sure that Production Plans are supported by the right Raw Material stock level.
- Liaising with the IT department to develop new planning tools.
- Taking part in the budget process providing a long-term overview and proposing new investments.
- Troubleshooting problems that may occur during production, including quality issues, staff shortages and machinery malfunctions.
- Preparing reports about production processes and reliability for the management proposing ways to improve the efficiency.
- Monitoring project's progress to ensure it is following the schedule
Job key requirements:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in management engineering (mechanical or similar).
- Fluent in English.
- 3 or more years of experience in planning.
- Excellent Microsoft Office.
- Excellent ERP knowledge.
- Analytical approach.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Leadership, proactive and collaborative approach.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Ability to see the big picture, and act like an independent problem solver.
