***About the job**:
The Production Planner is at the same time customer focused and passionate about manufacturing. He or she ensures the best availability of finished goods for sales and/or distribution, timely meets customer demand while optimizing manufacturing resources and minimizing stock levels and costs. He or she develops, maintains and executes production plans for multiple factories liaising with manufacturing, sales and marketing, customer service, logistics and R&D. He or she constantly analyses manufacturing and commercial data seeking out and proposing opportunities for improvements.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- **Production Planning**
- Develop and maintain production plans based on customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and share data and information for and about production plans.
- Assess production capacity and ensure alignment with demand (e.g. analyzing and /or proposing investments).
- Identify potential production bottlenecks and work with relevant teams to address them.
- **Inventory Management**
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- **Continuous Improvement**
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and flexibility.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning and execution.
- Design and help implement new IT tools.
- **Data Analysis**:

- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to make informed decisions regarding production planning.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning (e.g. efficiency and plan adherence).
- **Communication and coordination**
- Communicate production plans and changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address production issues and optimize efficiency.

**Job Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in management or industrial (e.g. mechanical or similar) engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in production planning.
- Curiosity about and passion for Supply Chain.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Mastery of MS Excel and familiarity with data bases and BI tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI);
- Ability to see the big picture and through complexity, identify issues and indicate solutions.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
- Goal and result orientation, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive and collaborative approach.
