YOUR 'DAY TO DAY'
As Digital Manufacturing Global Product Owner, you will be part of Global Digital Manufacturing department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to Global Digital Manufacturing Lead Product Owner.
The position is based in Bologna (Italy).
A key responsibility will be to lead and own strategy, vision and management of digital manufacturing products in order to support manufacturing loss elimination journey and to meet the technical and business needs and objectives including safety, quality, and efficiency goals by driving change management and adoption of new digital solutions
Specific responsibilities include:
- Product roadmap & vision of digital manufacturing products
- Define products' vision aligned with products' family strategy
- Anticipate and forecast business needs for the Digital Manufacturing products under his/her responsibilities
- Handle customers and partners expectations for digital manufacturing products
- Communicate effectively with partners (Global Process Owners, SME,) to validate business requirements and define product acceptance criteria's
- Steer products' teams to build, improve and lead digital manufacturing products, capabilities and services
- Manage business case content and delivery
- Map dependencies with other products and ensure alignment with other product owners
- Request for product teams / resources / budget
- Manage budget of digital products under his/her responsibilities
- Owns End-to-End lifecycle of Digital Manufacturing Products
- Build list of backlog items and prioritize them
- Manage product backlog
- Define priorities and remove barriers
- Coordinate development stages
- Act as business system owner for validated and regulated systems, according to QMS)
Key Qualifications:
- Master degree in Engineering /Computer science or equivalent experience
- Agile certification
- PBO/ Project/Program Management certification
- OPEN+ DIGI Pillar OPEX knowledge / qualification
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
- Big Data Analytics certification (preferred)
Requirements & Skills:
- Strong experience in Manufacturing environment and in leading agile projects and product teams in deploying IIOT solutions as product owner/manager, in particular in the area of manufacturing orchestration & supervision, operations workflow management and/or advance robotics
- Experience in Industry 4.0 solutions development as both a team member and mentor in the agile product owner roles in manufacturing environment (IIOT, Data Analytics, Microservices solution)
- Proficient with drawing storyboards, crafting product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
- Good Manufacturing Processes Knowledge
- Change management experience (Change Agent level)
- Very good understanding of the manufacturing digital transformation trends
- Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Creative problem solver with a vision
- Cyber security / information security knowledge (preferred)
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence (preferred)
