Are you an experienced Fiscal professional looking for a new opportunity at a growing company? Then the Self Pay Manager position is the perfect role for you Apis Services Inc. is currently hiring for a Self Pay Manager. The Self Pay Manager will function with autonomy, diplomacy and professionalism within the guidelines established by this organization. Promote the well being of the human aspect of this organization and report any concerns to the Director of Revenue Cycle. Function with the highest esteem in dealing with all employees, supervisors, and consumers of this organization. Be an advocate for all of the policies and protocols of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB AND ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS: PERFORM AND/OR SUPERVISE ALL DUTIES RELATED TO REVENUE CYCLE Assist with all fiscal matters relating to APIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES Monitor and Manage all day-to-day fiscal services to include: Revenue CycleCollection of services providedInterface with fiscal staff to ensure compliance of all requirementsAssist the auditors in the annual audit process to insure all questions are answered in an accurate and timely mannerDevelop and implement programs to make certain APIS MANAGEMENT SERVICES. is in compliance with all fiscal regu-lations imposed by the County, State and/or Federal Government agenciesDevelop and implement initiatives to enhance the revenue cycle management process and drive financial performanceEstablish and maintain effective billing and collections procedures, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims and minimizing denials and rejections.Develop, monitor and implement the month to month reconciliation of accounts receivable accounting packagesReviews billing/collection patterns and makes recommendations for corrective measurersCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including operation, product and engineering, to streamline revenue cycle work-flows and resolve and operational challenges.Monitor key performance indicators related to revenue cycle management, identify areas for improvement, and implement performance improvement initiatives.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the payers and insurance providers to negotiate favorable contracts and re-solve and resolve any billing and reimbursement issues.Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and resources to support the revenue cycle management team in their day-to day operations.Reviews departmental performance and ensures compliance with fiscal governmental reporting requirements, including tax reportsProvides assistance to all management staff related to the performance of financial management mattersDEPOSITS Code deposits to appropriate accountsEnter deposits into Accounting SystemAGED RECEIVABLE REPORT Research over thirty (30) day items and follow up with letters per IMS collection proceduresReport details of receivables over ninety (90) days to Director of Accounts Receivable/PayrollBILLINGS Progress billings to occur weekly and/or monthly depending upon payer and programAll billings to be completed and reconciled by the 10th business day after end of monthOTHER DUTIES Assist with other fiscal duties as assigned by Fiscal ManagementMINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related fieldPREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Five (5) to seven (7) years experience working in a non profit organizationKnowledge of human services financing and budgeting requirementsKnowledge of tax and federal reporting requirementsKnowledge of GAAPKnowledge of governmental accounting protocols, contract negotiations and preparation, and record keepingExcellent writing, documentation, and financial skillsExcellent organizational skillsTeam PlayerIf you are interested in this position and would like to learn more, apply today at www.apismgt.org/careers Who is Apis Services Inc:.
