The Finance Manager will be responsible for Italian Finance Division and for the following activities:

Controlling
Review the monthly financial performance of the Monza site in Italy; providing analytic reports, examining variances and identifying corrective actions.
Undertake the monthly financial closing of the Italian entity through the analysis, correlation and communication of financial results and relative business information.
Be a true business partner - understand complex financial considerations that ensure business decisions are being executed.
Partner with the Senior Leadership Team, the Finance Director Europe and the Site Leader to maximise profitability and shareholder return and minimise working capital.
Act upon changes in our business operations, the markets we serve and all products to ensure that management is provided with relevant and up to date data.
Manage all activity related to cash management, including receivables and payables.
Lead and implement strategic and operational planning and budgeting, including departmental reporting and analysis, in relation to sales and orders, product lines, ops ex initiatives, capital expenditures, working capital and cost reduction.

Accounting Manage and review the accounting team activity, take responsibility of the Accounting and finance functions
Secure the fulfilment of all Italian civil and fiscal regulations and obligations.
Overview the electronic invoicing processes in place.
Prepare monthly financial Statements following either local or US GAAPs.
Be the interface with external consultants as necessary, including EHS matters.
Be the interface with IT support group and/or consultants, for network or ERP system related issues (AS400/BPCS)
Assist in the preparation of various tax and statistical returns.
Assist consultants in Company Secretary functions.
Monitor all import/export activities.
Manage the standard costing process and advise on standard cost rates.
Manage and review reconciliations as required.
Oversee and review the preparation of Inter Company accounts as required.
Assist or manage various ad hoc finance projects as and when required.
Train and coach staff and colleagues in finance matters.
Implement the principles of continuous improvement in all aspects of activity.
Ensure that there are management controls in place which satisfy the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley in all areas of activity.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Assist local management in the preparation and submission of ERs and CERs.
Competenze ed esperienza
Educated to degree level in a financial or business related field.
A minimum of 10 year's experience in a similar position for a similar sized Sales Company, in an international environment.
Outstanding reasoning, problem solving and logical thinking ability.
Must be self-directed with an innate ability to motivate others and lead as a role model of the utmost integrity.
A deep seated knowledge of financial accounting systems.
Knowledge and experience of local and US GAAP, and knowledge of SOX principles would be a plus.
Excellent leadership communication skills.
Experience in communicating complex business messages orally and in writing, including technical and business terms (English).
Experience in process improvement, team building, financial system implementations and ability to promote and deliver positive change.
Must be technologically adept, with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge and experience of modern ERP systems would be a plus.
Experience in accounting & administrative re engineering activities (RPA driven) would be a plus.
Knowledge and experience in process digitalization would be a plus.
