Duties Serves as the 509th Signal Battalion/ Regional Network Enterprise Center South Miscellaneous Administration and Programs expert specializing in a broad range of Knowledge Management duties. Responsible for content management for knowledge-based systems supporting the Regional Network Enterprise Center (RNEC) South. Promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information system. Responsible for tracking metrics and trends, and analysis of activities surrounding the input, processing, and output of data from the various computer programs or systems. Represents RNEC leadership at various meetings and on working groups and implements knowledge sharing initiatives. Assists leadership in driving organization in desired direction, fosters cultural change, provides recommendations/options to institutionalize Knowledge Management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Three year trial/probationary period may be required. Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Incumbent must obtain and maintain a U.S. driver's license and military driver's license. Incumbent must obtain a U.S. official passport. TDY up to 10% is required. Qualifications Who May Apply: This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by: Managing digital and paper publications pertaining to knowledge communication, tools, and training materials; Ensuring the appropriate personnel are trained and oriented on using agency practices, techniques, and technology tools; Developing and supporting compliance of policy, processes, and guidance to govern and institutionalize knowledge management practices and initiatives.

Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Additional information If you are a current federal career/career-conditional employee, you will be placed on an excepted appointment. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a Human Capital and Resource Management Career Field position.
