Your role: We're looking for a Trims Specialist to join Woolrich's Supply Chain Department in Bologna. This role is meant to cover a long maternity leave (potentially more than one year) with the aim of supporting our Material Manager in the follow up of trims development with external suppliers, making sure that all information is updated in our system and delivery lead – time is on track. Your day to day: Create, fulfill, and update the internal Trims Chart file, making sure that all relevant information (codes, new colors, season, etc..) are always accurate and available to all the teams involved. Keep nominated suppliers updated on time with needs at the beginning of the season and with forecast after sales review. Keep communication and follow up with suppliers, making sure that delivery lead – time is on track and check/solve possible issues and delays. Attend internal meetings on trims development, reporting production issues and propose solutions. Update PLM, collect technical sheets on new trims and check information on washing according to Woolrich's standards. Take care of pre – production samples to be checked and approved with Design and Product Compliance teams. Take care of consumable materials' orders in the internal order management system (Microsoft Dynamics) and of relevant shipping documents with Logistics and suppliers. Your added value to the team: Background in economics, sales, textile, preferably with a strong knowledge of materials. + 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in the fashion industry or in a fast – paced environment. A previous experience in back office sales is considered a plus. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills Analytical and problem solving approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package, especially Excel. Knowledge of PLM or similar Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be considered a plus. Fluency in English.
