About the Role:

We're looking for a Trims Specialist to join our Supply Chain Department in Bologna, Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting our Material Manager in the development of trims with external suppliers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and update the internal Trims Chart file, ensuring all relevant information is accurate and accessible to teams involved.
  • Communicate and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of trims, resolving any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Attend internal meetings to discuss trims development, reporting production issues and proposing solutions.
  • Update our PLM system with technical information on new trims and ensure compliance with our standards.
  • Manage pre-production samples, collaborating with Design and Product Compliance teams for approval.
  • Oversee the ordering of consumable materials and shipping documents through our internal order management system (Microsoft Dynamics).

About You:

We're looking for someone with a background in economics, sales, or textile, with strong knowledge of materials. Previous experience in a similar position, preferably in the fashion industry or fast-paced environment, is a plus. You should have strong negotiation skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
