In addition to the energy sector, you can explore opportunities in other industries where Segula is highly active, such as automotive, aerospace, and rail.Job DescriptionWe are actively looking for a HSE Assistant who will join our team in supporting an important client operating in the Energy sector.Main tasks include:Develop health, safety and environmental processes, procedures and guidelines on the construction site, including identifying risks and training employees on how to handle hazardous materials or situationsEnsure all safety equipment is in good condition and available for use by all employeesConduct inspections to identify potential hazards and create plans to eliminate themDeveloping emergency response plans for natural disasters, fire risks, chemical spills, etc.Maintain accident and injury logs to track trends and improve safety measuresCreate and enforce occupational health and safety standards in compliance with federal, state and international regulationsMonitoring the work environment to ensure it is safe for employees to workConduct accident investigations when accidents occur to determine causesEstablish emergency preparedness plans to ensure the company can continue operations in the event of an emergencySupport the HSE Manager with all safety and environmental matters.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Hygiene or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with specialization training in safety, environment and health or environmental sciences.Differential degrees or specializations may be considered if the content of the study courses is equivalent.Construction site experience is requiredPrevious experience in the role and knowledge of industry standards/guidelinesFluent English and Italian Additional InformationAt SEGULA Technologies, diversity, fairness and inclusion are at the heart of our HR policy.
